Costa Daurada Cup

This Tournament will be run from the 5th to the 8th of April 2012 in Salou and Cambrils and it will be its fourth edition. Salou and Cambrils are 2 tourist-coast villages 80 km south of Barcelona. These villages have big and completed hotel complexes at a very good prices. Actually, the biggest Theme Park of Spain: Port Aventura Park is located in Salou, having the organization discounts for all its participants.

The accommodation of the teams is booked by the organization. Our Official Travel Agency is Travel Air Events, located in the Catalonian Coast, so prices, always including Full Board, are very competitive, making the Tournament very attractive from this point of view.

The organization also offers a transfer service (hotel – fields – hotel) and any kind of transfer requested (airport, excursions…) can also be booked with the Official Travel Agency. Most of the teams book the visit to Nou Camp Stadium, home of FC Barcelona.

The nearest airport is Reus (7 km far from Salou) full of low cost flights. The other near Airports is Barcelona and Girona.

The Tournament has new and modern venues, with artificial fields built no longer than 5 years ago. All teams play a minimum of 4 games. They are all divided in groups of 4, and after the one-leg-league (3 games), first and second of each group qualify to the Final Round and third and fourth of each group qualify for the Consolation Round. So, every team plays, at least, 1 knock-out game.

Apart from the Competition, there is also an Opening Ceremony, Disco Party for kids, Coaches game and dinner and Medal Giving Ceremony.

Last year, 60 teams took part in the event, with teams coming from Kenya, England, Scotland, Ireland, Finland, Peru or Kuwait.
